Wale facts 2.12.19

We have been learning about the Wales and I found three Interesting
facts about them 1. Although football (soccer) is more popular sport in
Northern wales. Rugby union is seen as the national sport and is passionately
played and followed by most of the country. 2. Cardiff's millennium stadium
has the largest retractable roof of any sports stadium in the world. 3. major Walter
Clapton Wingfield generally credited with inventing lawn tennis when in 1873 he
designed and patented a similar game for his guest to play on his estate of Nantclwyd
in Llanelidan wales.

swim safety 2019

In week 2 room 15 and 11 went to Q ll swim safety it was so fun because we flipped off a boat the instructor put us on the boat 1 by 1 and we took turns flipping off when it was my turn I felt scared but excited at the same I blocked my nose and my mouth so the water didn't get in and I held my life jacket and flipped backwards into the water, then I popped back up and went to the side of the pool and waited for others to flip back and when everyone flipped we flipped the boat upside down and we took turns swimming under it we had to put our hands on the boat and push our legs under when everybody done that we jumped out of the pool and got changed and went back on the bus to go back to school.

Today in maths we learnt about symmetry i diden't know anything about symmetry or what symmetry meant.
Do you know what symmetry is?
In symmetry each shape has to have all equal pieces.

3D shapes & nets 10/05/19

In math this week we have been learning about 3D shapes & nets.
I found learning about 3D shapes hard because there are lots of different names shapes, like cube, triangular prism and rectangular pyramid.
Do you know the difference between a  pyramid and a prism?

This is a worksheet we did that we had to name  the 3D shape, count how many triangles, squares or rectangles were in each, we also had to work out how many faces, edges and vertices for each shape.

This a 3D cube that I made, it was a net but I cut it out and glued it together and it turned into a cube.

The best Holidays ever

In the holidays i went to timezone with my mum,sister,anty and cousins we won lots and lots of tickets all together we had 2460.
When we left I got a netball.

room 10 & 11

on Thursday room 10 &11 did science.it was fun because we got to watch the food collaring mix together. It was so pretty it turned into a big flower, when we were finished we had to write in some details about it.
